Maike is responsible for the everyday running of the office in South Queensferry. She also looks after all our group and incentive trips. Before joining us Maike had worked for various tour operators and as a tour guide in Scotland, bringing with her a wealth of experience. Even today she uses every opportunity to explore this beautiful country she now calls home. However, her biggest love is food and drink, which is why she is forever trying out new trends and visiting restaurants, cafes and bars.
For a scenic drive not far from Edinburgh travel from Kinross to Dollar (make sure you walk the glen for some stunning scenery), on to Crieff and Aberfeldy, and finally arrive in Kenmore on the shore of the beautiful Loch Tay.
Best Place to Relax
Dr. Neil´s Garden in Edinburgh, Inchcailloch island (Loch Lomond) and Iona, a small island on the west coast.
The Magnum (Albany Street in Edinburgh), the Oxford Bar (Thistle Street in Edinburgh) and The Keys Bar (St Andrews).
What I like most about Scotland
The diverse and distinctive range of landscapes never fail to amaze. Also, the fact that you can be in unspoilt nature, away from civilisation, in literally no time at all.
Food and drink, and just finding out more about Scotland every day.
