This tour combines the two most enjoyable ways of travelling Scotland – on foot and by train. En route you will discover blissful Hebridean beaches, the mountains and glens of the Western Highlands and the heather-clad Cairngorm National Park.
Another highlight of the trip will be the legendary train journey between Mallaig and Fort William, which will captivate you with its rugged landscape, wild lochs, jagged fjords and breath-taking views over the islands off the west coast. In Fort William you also have the opportunity to scale Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.
There will be a range of walks for you to choose from in each location, with varying levels of difficulty, allowing you the maximum choice and flexibility.
