Visiting the Trossachs, you will encounter enchanted wooded glens and tranquil lochs, a magical landscape that has inspired many famous writers, most notably Sir Walter Scott whose literary work attracted the first tourists to the place. Today, the area where the Lowlands meet the Highlands, is one of the must-sees for visitors to Scotland, offering a mix of outstanding natural beauty and a variety of outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, fishing and boating.
The Trossachs Trail is a circular route of approximately 40 miles, taking on average 6 days to complete. Following in the footsteps of the Scottish folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor, you will be passing through idyllic scenery and staying in authentic accommodation in picturesque Victorian towns, such as Aberfoyle, Callander and Killin. Luggage transfer included.
